Message from our President
With transformation of lives in mind, we started, in 1993, a new and extensive work program with the deprived population in Brazil's dry northeast.
The experiences we have been through over all these years have brought abount profound changes in us, broadened our vision and enhanced our understanding of the world.
Over the past 15 years we have fought, learned and seen the results in the lives of those who benefited from the work in our Agricultural Villages, Educational Centers, Cashew Plantations, Handicraft Activities and Community Health Projects (today, they are all presented as Transformation Centers established in each region according to necessity). This work enabled many families to live with less hunger, less poverty, less diaseases, and to generate income.

Our main concern is to provide children with self-sufficiency and differentiated educational knowledge, and to teach adults to interact with the world, empowering them to discover, learn and take part in these changes and in the construction of lives.
Let's leave our marks and our contribution to the history of Brazil's dry northeast, let's do something meaningful. Let's try not only to be effective, but also to do our work with commitment and love. Let us always try our best!
